Start spreading the news, this summer we will visit America’s most exciting metropolis for a Ladies Only Summer Getaway filled with shopping, sightseeing and endless entertainment. Relax as you enjoy a single hotel stay in the heart of the city.
We will enjoy local eatery before setting out to embrace the energy of this fascinating city. You’ll go back in time during your locally- guided walking tour of SoHo and Nolita. Nolita (North of Little Italy) became a magnet for pricey boutiques and trendy eateries in the 1990s. We will be taken back as we learn of the events that took place here during the 19th and 20th century. During your tour view the St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral and learn about its significance. This afternoon experience the Hard Times tour at the Tenement Museum and discover how immigrants survived the Great Depression. This evening it’s Diner’s Choice...your dinner is included and you’ll choose the perfect spot from a “menu” of the city’s popular locations in exhilarating Times Square.
On day three we will spend the morning visiting the 9/11 Memorial, a poignant tribute to the lives lost at the World Trade Center site. Then it is an afternoon where the curtains rise on Broadway. After the show, enjoy a private tour of the beautifully restored Art Deco-style New Amsterdam Theatre. Learn about the history of the building as well as the current production on stage.
